&Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
Your front-row seat to the Great Migration
&Beyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp is situated along the route of the Great Migration, one of the most remarkable natural phenomena globally. Annually, millions of wildebeest and zebras migrate through the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti in pursuit of fresh grass and water. Even in the absence of this show, Kichwa Tembo remains an extraordinary safari lodge, offering numerous activities and sights, all complemented by superior accommodation and service.
The local wildlife is both plentiful and varied. During a game drive in the adjacent wildness, one can anticipate sightings of the previously mentioned wildebeest and zebra, in addition to lion, elephant, cheetah, buffalo, and giraffe, among several other species. The elusive black rhino can also be found in the Ngama Hills region of eastern Mara.
Kichwa Tembo comprises 40 tents of varying capacities, accommodating a maximum of 80 people. Each tent is adorned in a modern aesthetic, using neutral hues and textures. The camp includes a substantial swimming pool for summer respite and a safari shop with arts, crafts, and various souvenirs.
