NThambo Tree Camp is situated in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, which is part of the Greater Kruger and has unfenced boundaries with the Kruger National Park.  nThambo Tree Camp offers a straightforward, genuine, and unique setting for guests to engage with the African wilderness.

 Twice-daily and nocturnal wildlife drives are led by seasoned rangers and Shangaan trackers, aiming to enrich your understanding and appreciation of the wilderness.  Bushwalking brings you nearer to the wilderness, while off-road driving offers distinctive observations.  Additional amenities including an open-air boma, a splash pool, and a bar.

nThambo is acutely aware of the fragile equilibrium in nature and endeavors to minimize its carbon imprint to the greatest extent, rendering this camp exceptionally eco-friendly.   A distinctive “tree tent,” including only five canvas-walled, thatched-roof chalets elevated on stilts at eye level with the trees.  All of these chalets feature private balconies and en-suite bathrooms equipped with showers.  Guests will enjoy vistas of the picturesque plains, watering hole, and the distant Drakensberg mountain range from the luxury of an outdoor lounge and eating area.
