Nkwichi Lodge, while situated in Mozambique, is located on the eastern coast of Lake Malawi.  Situated far from roads, shops, and what is termed civilization, one would find it challenging to discover a more secluded and exclusive beach vacation.

The location features eight private beaches along 4 kilometers of lake coastline, providing exclusive access to pristine waters ideal for canoeing, snorkeling, sailing, and birdwatching, as well as opportunities to observe numerous vibrant fish.  Visit the Manda Nature Reserve and contribute to the Manda Wilderness Project, which aims to safeguard the native fauna and plants of the area.  As night descends, immerse yourself in the “Lake of Stars” phenomenon and be enchanted by an authentic African night sky.

The lodge is situated on a rocky promontory, offering uninterrupted views of the lake and an outdoor dining space on the deck.  Six chalets are nestled discreetly within the tree canopy, ensuring maximum solitude.  Each chalet features a hardwood four-poster king-size bed with an ample mosquito net, a rock-pool bath hewn from ancient boulder, and a private verandah, perfect for daytime relaxation.
