Namutoni Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
Namutoni’s national monument safari
Namutoni Camp lives in a century-old German fort, its white walls beckoning tired safari-goers touring Namibia’s rich Etosha National Park to relax. Guests scarcely have to leave camp to appreciate all that Namutoni has to offer; the site offers great sundowner possibilities and stunning views over King Nehale Waterhole.
Not only a well-known game-viewing site, but Etosha’s eastern section, best reached by Von Lindequist Gate, is also a birds’ paradise. Apart from watching the skies and horizon for Bateleur eagles, pygmy falas, and lilac-breasted rollers, tourists can also keep their eyes peeled for all the Big 5 except the buffalo as well as other African favourites like giraffe and hyena.
At African Fusion, visitors can eat on local cuisine; at The Steakhouse, they can choose for more western meals. On-site amenities include a superette, curio shop, petrol station, swimming pool, viewing deck, and camping. While their Double Rooms include en-suite bathrooms and private areas on both sides, Namutoni’s Bush Chalets are roomy and feature en-suite bathrooms, patios and two beds.
