At the base of the Naukluft mountains

The lofty tented rooms at Moon Mountain Lodge rest against the gradually ascending landscape that constitutes the base of the Naukluft mountains.  The lodge’s rooms, elevated on stilts, offer all conceivable amenities along with the spacious ambiance of a tent.  Admire the beautiful mountain vistas and adjacent dunes, while observing for Oryx, springbok, and zebra.

The lodge is strategically situated near the majestic red dunes of Sossusvlei, facilitating a convenient day trip to the expansive clay pan.  Engage in a 4X4 excursion across the adjacent sand dunes, or partake in a leisurely walk across the parched landscape.  For an aerial perspective, ascend in a hot air balloon to survey the undulating terrain, or alternatively, inquire about scenic trips offered by airplane and helicopter.

The lodge provides four Standard Rooms, appropriate for families with children, 11 Luxury Rooms, and six Suites.  Each room is en-suite and includes a private deck and splash pool.  The Nebula Restaurant at Moon Mountain specializes on traditional Namibian cuisine, and the Cosmos Bar provides delightful sundowners on an expansive viewing deck.
