Originally comprising multiple distinct enclosed game ranches, conservation initiatives in the 1990s ultimately prompted landowners to remove the barriers and permit the unrestricted movement of wildlife.  The border between Balule and adjacent reserves in the region and the esteemed Kruger National Park has been removed, enabling the Big 5 to coexist with other species present in the area.  Safari excursions and bush walks will enable you to thoroughly explore the region’s natural wonders, encompassing 149 animal species, over 260 bird species, and a variety of reptiles and insects.

During your African expedition, you will encounter four-star luxury at the lodge, where accommodations consist of Rondawels and Family Lodges designed in the form of traditional African huts.  The lodge offers many tranquil areas for relaxation and a charming outdoor boma for food preparation and enjoyment around the fire.
