Luxury camping in the region of the Great Migration

Mahali Mzuri translates to “beautiful location” in Swahili, which accurately describes the luxurious tented safari resort established by Sir Richard Branson.  Elegantly curved canvas canopies border a verdant valley that slopes down to undulating grasslands, seamlessly integrating with the environment in the exclusive Olare Motorogi Conservancy inside the Greater Maasai Mara ecosystem.

The region is distinguished for its prolific animals and diverse avian species.  Furthermore, the annual phenomenon of the Great Migration attracts nearly one million wildebeest, along with accompanying gazelles and zebras, to the 13,500-hectare conservancy from July to September.  Numerous sights await, whether from the 12-meter infinity pool or during a morning or evening wildlife drive.  Arrangements can also be made for tours to local Maasai settlements and visits to schools.

The en-suite tents, two of which have a sleeper couch for up to two youngsters, are evenly divided on either side of the main tent.  This center hub features a tranquil lounge with a fireplace, a library, iPads and iPod docking stations, a TV/DVD player, a gaming system, and an expansive deck.
