A retreat for wildlife enthusiasts

 The Duba Explorers Camp is situated within a 77,000-acre private concession of traditional Okavango Delta ecosystem.  The concession comprises a collection of palm-studded islands, floodplains, and woodlands, exemplifying the region’s distinctive topography.  The camp is situated on a forested island, linked to the abundant wildlife region by a complex network of bridges.  It is the sole camp on the concession, thereby providing guests with unparalleled opportunities for exclusive sightings.

The camp features six expedition-style tents situated on slightly elevated decks, each offering views of the adjacent floodplain.  Each tent is equipped with a compact workstation, a private verandah, and en-suite amenities featuring dual sinks and an indoor shower.  The primary space features elevated decking and comprises an open-concept dining and lounge room, complete with a firepit for evening gatherings.

Duba Explorers Camp boasts exceptional wildlife encounters, featuring frequent observations of many species, including substantial herds of Red lechwe, kudu, tsessebe, and giraffe.  Elephants and hippos are frequently observed, while leopards and brown hyenas may also be encountered.  The region boasts abundant avian diversity, including notable species such as the rare Wattled Crane, Pel’s Fishing Owl, White-backed Night Heron, and Marsh Owl.
