At Hakusembe River Lodge, proprietors Lena and Henry have transformed their idyllic residence into a charming lodge.  Situated on the periphery of the Kavango River, approximately 15 kilometers west of Rundu, the entrance to the Caprivi Strip, the aquatic sports here are quite enjoyable!

Hakusembe River Lodge offers activities that capitalize on the abundant Kavango River, which constitutes the renowned Okavango Delta in Botswana and its surroundings.  Experience river cruises on the Hakusembe River Queen, engage in tiger fishing, partake in picnic safaris to Angola, observe over 400 recorded bird species, or visit The Living Museum of Mbunza to gain insights into the local inhabitants of this picturesque region.

The lodge is encircled by a well-maintained lawn and sheltered by acacia trees.  Individual thatched bungalows are positioned along the river, each featuring a private view, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, hot water, and a continuous electricity supply.  The primary lodge features a swimming pool, a robust restaurant, and a popular bar.  Supplementary lodging options comprise the Hakusembe Villa situated along the Okavango River, featuring one double room, a loft with four beds, and a communal bathroom.
