Manyeleti’s family-oriented retreat

Honeyguide  Khoka Moya Camp is the quintessential family retreat during academic breaks.  Khoka Moya has been constructed using corrugated iron, reminiscent of early gold prospectors’ dwellings, and weathered boards repurposed from a prior wooden structure, embodying the aesthetic of a traditional African camp.

In contrast to most game camps and lodges, Khoka Moya accommodates children of all ages.  A specifically tailored children’s program features a supervised activity center where they can participate in various activities, including beadwork, cookie-baking, drawing, and reading.  The center is equipped with a DVD player, an assortment of animal and nature-themed films, toys, and a modest library designed for younger readers.

The 15 spacious en-suite tents are elegantly decorated in a modern aesthetic and feature either double or twin beds adorned with high-quality cotton sheets and down duvets.  A dual shower and distinct toilet are also incorporated.  The common living, dining, and bar spaces surround an open atrium where outdoor evening meals and fine wines for adults are served around a large log fire.
