Little Mombo Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
A secluded retreat offering a rich wildlife experience
Situated on Mombo Island within the Moremi Game Reserve, Little Mombo Camp commands a view of expansive floodplains and forest islands that constitute the Okavango Delta. The camp situates you in one of Africa’s premier game viewing regions and, with only three tents available, creates an impression of exclusivity.
The Mombo Concession, referred to as the “land of plenty,” is celebrated for its rich fauna, with a high density of predators, including all major felids, as well as various plains animals. Extensive herds of buffalo, spotted hyenas, white rhinoceroses, elephants, and giraffes inhabit this region, accompanied by abundant avian species. Although reserve laws restrict safari activities to daytime wildlife drives, the abundance of sights renders this limitation negligible.
Linked to its larger counterpart, Mombo Camp, via an elevated wooden stairway, Little Mombo remains autonomous, featuring its own lounge, dining room, firepit, boma, bar, and plunge pool. The three opulent canvas rooms are expansive, exquisitely appointed, and feature a private lounge, sala, verandah, and sumptuous en suite bathrooms, equipped with outdoor showers and scenic views.
