Thornybush Nature Reserve presents its special self-catering lodging, N’kelenga Tented Camp, distinguished by its celebrated elegance.  This exemplifies optimal seclusion, as guests must reserve the entire camp, allowing you to indulge in the assurance that the camp’s fauna, flora, idiosyncrasies, and amenities are exclusively yours.

Nkelenga is situated at the center of the natural reserve, near to the Greater Kruger National Park, and encompasses a walled area beneath a majestic acacia tree that overlooks a picturesque watering hole—an emblematic representation of Africa.  Guests enjoy exclusive access to the camp’s open Land Rover, accompanied by a ranger and tracker for daytime and nighttime excursions, as well as bush walks.

The exclusive tented camp can host up to nine people, featuring a fully-equipped, air-conditioned main house with a mezzanine containing three beds—ideal for children—and three luxurious en-suite tents, also air-conditioned.  The primary residence features a huge, fully-equipped kitchen, a lounge, and a dining room, while the camp offers a dedicated housekeeping.  A spacious swimming pool and spa center provide the indulgence you want during your self-catered visit.
