Uncover a distinctive fortress at the entrance to Etosha.

The 34,000-hectare private Onguma Game Reserve is situated on the eastern boundary, providing immediate access to Etosha National Park.  Onguma, one of five lodges in the reserve, is wholly distinctive.  The Fort boasts imposing bare walls, stone-clad elements, and a substantial tower offering vistas over the Namibian Pans.

The lodge provides a perspective over a waterhole, offering an exceptional viewpoint to observe roughly 30 species of wildlife and over 300 reported bird species in the vicinity.  Alongside onsite activities, the remarkable wildlife experience of Etosha National Park, featuring four of the Big Five, is virtually at your doorstep.

The décor features African elements with a distinct Moroccan flavor, exuding a subtle yet opulent ambiance.  The Mini Suites and Honeymoon Suite are located close to the Main Fort, separated by a distance of 50 meters for seclusion.  Each includes an air cooling system, an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers, and a wooden balcony furnished with sun loungers and a view.  The Sultan Suite, located in the Main Tower of the fort, comprises a double bedroom, a complete en-suite bathroom, a lounge space, and a private deck offering exceptional views.
