Elevated on stilts above the Swakop River estuary

The Stiltz is situated above the Swakop River mouth, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the northern boundaries of the expansive Namib Desert sand sea.  Located within a short walk from Swakopmund, the quaint and diverse resort provides a serene and rejuvenating experience in a handy setting.

The Stiltz is ideally situated a few distance from the town center and mere moments from the sea, allowing for exploration of all that beautiful Namibian coastal village provides.  Swakopmund offers a plethora of activities, including desert tours, quad biking, boat cruises, and skydiving, ensuring constant excitement.

 The lodge is constructed entirely of wood and elevated at a minimum of six feet above the marshy estuary of the Swakop River.  Despite being a dry riverbed, the mouth is nourished by the tide and serves as a feeding and breeding habitat for numerous avian species, including pelicans, plovers, and terns.  Each room constitutes an own apartment including an eccentric décor, en suite bathroom, and private balcony.  The rooms are connected by elevated walkways, and the main lodge features a multi-dimensional structure of wood and glass, offering a substantial breakfast.
