Tubu Tree Camp : Rates, Reviews, Booking Information
Prime wildlife territory in the center of the Okavango Delta
Hunda Island, the most extensive expanse of perennially arid terrain in the Okavango Delta, elevates above a landscape characterized by enduring wetlands, profound water channels, seasonal floodplains, and islands. Tubu Tree Camp is situated on an island of interconnected habitats, positioned inside a prime area for big-game, guaranteeing a variety of exhilarating wildlife experiences.
Day and night game drives provide each visitor with a window seat to witness the natural splendor of wildlife—vast herds of elephants and buffalo navigate the mopane woods, while antelope favor the open plains. Predatory felines coexist with an abundance of avian species. Bushwalks are available, and once the water levels increase, canoe safaris and fishing expeditions begin.
The eight high Standard Tents, constructed in a traditional design, are linked by elevated wooden pathways. Expansive sliding doors with mesh panels open onto private terraces that offer extensive views of the floodplain. Each tent is furnished with an en-suite bathroom and an outdoor shower, whereas the Family Tent Unit comprises two interconnected tents and a communal lounge.
