Xugana Lagoon is regarded as the most remarkable permanent water body in the Okavango Delta.  Xugana Island Lodge is arguably one of the region’s most coveted destinations, offering tourists the opportunity to experience the Delta in its most verdant state.

The lodge is situated on a wooden island in the Xugana Lagoon, resulting in predominantly water-based activities, including mokoro or motorboat excursions and fishing for tiger fish and bream.  Xugana is particularly esteemed for its avian observation prospects, especially during the summer season.  Day and night game drives, together with guided nature walks, are available.

 The lodge provides lodging in chalets and accommodates a restricted number of guests, ensuring a more private experience.  Each chalet is constructed from thatch and reed, with twin-size beds, an en-suite bathroom, walk-in showers, and a private deck.  Outdoor dinners and beverages are offered beneath a canopy of African mangosteen and ebony trees, with a view of the unblemished waters of the permanent Delta.  Safe and tranquil swims can be enjoyed in the swimming pool located at the center of the island.
